Outreach

Middleton Outreach Ministry (MOM) – www.momhelps.org

Over the last 30 years, this organization has led a community-wide effort to improve the quality of life and provide basic needs for our neighbors in need.  In a struggling economy, there are people who’ve run into extraordinary circumstances and it’s particularly hard for some around the holidays.

Raven has been involved with MOM's Sharing Christmas Program since 2009.  This program provides toys, gifts and basic necessities to children and adults to help make the holidays brighter! In 2011, Raven employee's donated presents to over a dozen families in the area.

Community Shares of Wisconsin (CSW) – www.communityshares.com

This local organization together with donors and its 63 member nonprofits address social, economic, and environmental problems through grassroots action, advocacy, research and public education.  Support is provided by raising money through workplace giving and individual donor gifts.  In 2009, Raven launched a fall workplace giving campaign through Community Shares of WI.  Raven matched individual donations up to $250.00 and it proved to be a very successful campaign in over $15,000 in total donations.  Raven was also recognized with an “Open Door Award” for opening up its workplace to CSW and how successful we were.    In providing more access to charitable gift options to our employees – we are able to directly impact the community one dollar at a time!

C.O.D.E. Scholars – www.callofdutyendowment.org

The Call of Duty Endowment is a non-profit public benefit corporation which helps soldiers transition to civilian careers after their military service. The Call of Duty Endowment focuses its resources on assisting organizations that provide job placement and training to veterans, as well as engaging the media and public forums to raise awareness about the issue. Activision Blizzard launched the organization in October and Raven welcomed four (4) local CODE Scholarship winners who are attending Madison Area Technical College.

Raven welcomed Alissa Andrus, Robert Howe, Matt Minnis & Eric Sutton who met with our Studio Head and several employees who graduated from MATC.

Employees have responded overwhelmingly over the years when unfortunate news of natural disasters hit. Employee's donations to Hurricane Katrina, Haiti and Japan have  been matched  by Activision so that equals strength in numbers to these relief organizations.

American Red Cross Blood Drives – www.americanredcross.org

Onsite blood drives are held on an annual basis at Raven.  Pledging is a reflex for many and giving back to individuals in need is another way we plug into our community to help where it’s needed most.
