Before coming to Raven I was working towards a career in law enforcement. I was a supervisor in a privately owned security firm where I received training in firearms, self-defense (DAAT) law studies and executive protection and loss prevention -a majority of my working hours were spent doing bodyguard work for jewelry wholesalers and bouncing for local bars and nightclubs. I then transitioned to ATM maintenance for an armored car company to give myself more time off to pursue training and education –at which point I decided law was not for me after all. I then got into the tech industry where i worked for a telecom manufacturer, they made blade servers and components for the military, NASA and most of the major telecomm companies (Lucent, Motorola, Nortel)i worked as a functionality tester until they closed in 2007.
Eventually I went back to school for IT with a networking focus. – and that is what led me here. I had played a majority of the games from Hexen and Heretic all the way up to X-Men Legends and never realized the Raven Software here in Madison was the studio responsible. You can imagine how happy I was when I found out. Everything has worked out nicely; I am now the father of almost three, a happy intern in the IT department at Raven and a nuisance to the established game players at Raven.
