
Joe Koberstein started as a commercial artist designing T-shirts and rock band logos in the late 1980’s. After graduating from the Commercial Art program at MATC in 1993 he worked in advertising and publishing in the Madison, Wisconsin and Los Angeles, California area. Joe started his own freelance design company called Koberstein Design working with clients in the Video Game, Advertising, Music, Film and the Amusement Park Industry in both the U.S. and Japan.
Joining Raven Software in 1997 Joe has worked in almost all aspects of the art department ranging from 2D and 3d asset creation, leading an art team, visual effects and concept painting. Joe’s past titles while working at Raven include: Hexen 2: Portal of Praevus, Heretic 2, Soldier of Fortune 1 and 2, Star Trek: Elite Force, Star Wars: Jedi Academy, Quake 4, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and Singularity.
Joe has a love for anything outdoors and spends his free time landscaping, trout fishing, boating and camping.
