Set in a post-apocalyptic future, you are Slade, a mercenary empowered with the choice to destroy the world ... or save it. It features 30 single player levels, 22 different enemies, 21 weapons, 3 useable vehicles and a variety of multiplayer game mode including deathmatch, capture the flag, arsenal and assassin. Developed in 1997 using Raven's in-house Vampire engine, Take No Prisoners was one of the first games that took full advantage of 3-D hardware acceleration and colored lighting. It pioneered a new variation on top-down gameplay made popular by the arcade classic Gauntlet by setting the character at the bottom of the screen and exploring the world from a 2 1/2-D view.
